E-Learning

So it's been a few years(7 to be exact) since I graduated from college.  But these last couple of weeks I have felt like I was right back there.

As I prepare to serve with Wycliffe I am going through some online courses.  There are 10 courses that I need to complete and so far I'm done with three.

The courses vary from "Building a Solid Foundation", "Wycliffe-A Big Picture Perspective", "Getting Organized" and "What Will You Say".  Each course had online books about the topic, additional articles to read, a bible study to go through, some videos to watch and quizzes to take.

I have learned so much about Wycliffe that I didn't know before and God has been reminding me of so many things.  At times it's been alot to take in, but it's all been so worth it.  To learn more about Wycliffe yourself, check out the links on the right side of the page.

I should finish up the rest of the courses in the next couple weeks.  In plenty of time before I need to head to Florida(that is where Wycliffe's headquarters is located) for an on-site orientation.   I'm not sure when that will be yet, but when I find out, I will be sure to let you know.

Another part of the e-learning is also reading a book that Wycliffe sent me.  It is called To Timbuktu & Beyond by Marsha Woodard.  If you are interested in missions, know someone who is interested in missions, or work for a missions organization I suggest you read it.  I'm only a few chapters in and it's already such a great book.  Alot of great information!!

  1. I used to think I was going to go to Timbuktu someday. It turned out that my brother lived quite close to there for a number of years. Sounds like a lot of good food for thought you are getting. Dig in! :-)
