I'm sure the answer to that question is yes. We have all heard it. We've heard it so many times that it doesn't really have an impact on many of us any more.
The last couple weeks at my church we have been looking at this very idea. However, we have also been looking for the the things in the story that we might over look but that are the most important things. Like how God didn't just send a baby into the world, he sent a Savior (Luke 2:11)!
These last couple weeks have also made me think about what if I had never heard the Christmas story. It truly is an amazing story and there are still so many people out there who have never heard it.
This Christmas season I pray that you will read the Christmas story again and be amazed at what God did for everyone of us. Will you also pray about what you could do to help other people to hear the Christmas story for the first time.
