New Years is a great time to reflect on both the past, the present and the future all at the same time.
I've been thinking a lot about where God has brought me this past year. At the beginning of the year I had no idea and couldn't even image that this is where I would be in my life. I really hoped that I would have figured out how God wanted me to be going back to Papua New Guinea, but had no idea how it would end up.
Currently I'm excited about where I am, about all the things that God has taught me and what He will teach me. I feel blessed by the people that God has brought into my life. People I have known for years, some for a few months and ones that I have just met.
I look ahead to what this next year will hopefully hold. I look forward to visiting friends and telling more people about the amazing work of Wycliffe Bible Translators and how I get to be apart of it and how they can to. I'm excited about learning more about linguistics this coming summer when I head to the University of North Dakota. I then hope to be heading to Papua New Guinea in August.
I read a blog recently by a fellow Wycliffe member that I hope to write one year from now.
See the Partner With Me page above to find out how you can help me get to Papua New Guinea in August.
