Counting Down the Days

I just realized today that I have 20 days until I leave Murray for the summer.  This is both very exciting and very nerve racking at the same time.

I am excited about all the people that I will see while on a three week road trip that I will be going on with my brother.  We will be doing home and church visits to share about the ministry of Wycliffe and what I will be doing with them.  We still have some details to figure out, but I do know that we will be in the following states: Arkansas, New Mexico, Wyoming, South Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Illinois.  I'll send out a more detail schedule in a couple weeks.

I'm also excited about my classes that I will be taking this summer, knowing that what I will be learning will help me with what I will be doing in PNG.

I am nervous because I still have so many details to figure out for the road trip and for actually going to my classes.  As excited as I am about taking the classes I am also very nervous because it's been almost 8 years since I've taken a college class and these are classes that are very foreign to me.

However I was reminded last night of Jesus' words from Matthew 6 where we are commanded to not worry.

34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.
Each day has enough trouble of its own.

I know that God will provide just what I need just when I need it!  And this will be something that I will try to remember everyday as I count down the days and every day after that.
