Today we went from Powell, WY to Spearfish, SD. This was to be a half way point on our way to Sioux Falls, SD. On our way we took a slight detour and saw Devils Tower.
Devils Tower is one of my favorite places. I don't think I've mentioned it but you might pick up that I love my state(Wyoming) and I feel so blessed that we were able to spend so much time in it and see so many wonderful things.
We didn't go all the way up to it today so here is a picture from a couple years back of it up close.
Day 14
To get to all of these places involves a lot of driving so that means we are in the car a lot. Well that is what today mainly consisted of as we drove across South Dakota.
It's not the greatest picture, but her I am driving down the road. Larry has done most of the driving but today I did all of the driving. As you might see we have a very full car.
With all that driving comes buying a lot of gas. So far the cheapest we have seen it was $3.24 outside of Oklahoma City and the most expensive has been $4.29 outside of Yellowstone.
